Race Day Details

The Pace of Courage 5k and 10k will start at 9:00 am.

Race Day Registration
We will have race day registration for the 5k and the 10k starting at 8:00 am. Race day registrations are discounted as they will not include a race shirt. We will also be taking registrations at race packet pickup at Foot Traffic Lake Oswego (directions) on August 14th. These registration are discounted as they do not include a race t-shirt. Cash and Check only.

Parking
Oaks Park has numerous parking lots all close to the start of the events. Directions to the Oaks Park Amusement Park where the start and finish of all the races are located: http://oakspark.com/directions.html
This map indicates the location of race parking. The Grove (to the right/south end of the map) is the location of Finish celebrations.

Packet Pickup
We will have race day packet pickup starting at 8:00 am for those that have pre-registered. If you would like to beat the rush of race day, packets will also be available at the Foot Traffic Lake Oswego (directions) from 5:30 to 6:30 pm on Friday August 14.

Door Prizes
Everyone has a chance for a prize at our events. We will have a listing of the door prize winners at the post race food "buffet". Make sure to check for any winnings.

Course and Markings
Each mile will be indicated with a sign for both the 5k and 10k. Signs and volunteers will be at all intersections directing you as required. A detailed course description can be found here

Aid stations
There will be an aid station out on the course. This station will service both the 5k and 10k runners. Water and calories (Clif Bar Minis) will be provided at the aid station.

Trail Etiquette
The Springwater Corridor is a great trail shared by runners, cyclists and rollerbladers. We ask that you only run 2 abreast, call out when you are about to pass someone ("Passing on the right"), and only pass on the right hand side. No littering.

Restrooms
The flush toilet facilities of the park will be open with restrooms near the start and finish. There are no restrooms on the course.

Clothes Drop
There will be an organized clothes drop. All items are left at the owners risk.

Race Results
Timing by Zornick is handling the race results and we will try our best to have them up on the web page by race day evening.

Race Awards
Race awards will go to the top three male and female athletes in the Open and Masters category. The age group winners will be recognized as well.
